You get a special kind of politician in different parts of the country. In California, you tend to get ex-actors. In Texas you get people like Betty Brown, who recently suggested that, well…I’ll let her explain:

“Rather than everyone here having to learn Chinese — I understand it’s a rather difficult language — do you think that it would behoove you and your citizens to adopt a name that we could deal with more readily here?

I see the report made it clear that she is a republican. How many times have democrates done stupid or ILLEGAL things and they never point out the fact that they are democrats?

Well, if this was being reported on Fox, I’m sure they’d identify Brown as a Democrat. Does that help you any?

So let me get this straight … the complaining immigrants, set up by the democrats to disguie the real issue in Texas which is border hopping (and last I looked we didn’t ahre a border with China) are complaining that they cannot keep track of their aliases right? And the representative suggested that they should choose simpler aliases, and the democrats are trying to manufacture one of their issues about this right? With the goal of stopping the legislation requiring people that vote to be legal? Ok, I think I got it now.

This fake indignation by the libs is so pathetic. My great great grandfather translated our German name to English and my who family is very happy about it. And I would guess the family’s of all that have defended and lost their lives for the America that Obama is giving away for a personality contest would agree. It is written in our constitution, if anyone rembembers what that is any more, that our intent in forming this nation is a benevelent one. Not to dictate and strip the individual of their personal power. Disempowering the American citizen is the largest step toward destroying what we know to be freedom. Let’s just see what happens to our society when many don’t have the need to strive to improve themselves, because the government is giving it to them. I believe the problem extends beyond the Asian community. Just look at how many Smiths, Jones, Washingtons, Rodriguezs, Lopezs, etc that we have and how difficult that is. Just google your own name and you’ll probably find that you may not be the only one with your name. So we are using middle names which helps, so do we add a fourth name to ID all.
