I’m into the “Scotty’s hair” thing… (and you can call me a stickler) My Scotty has a terrific head of hair. Period. I guess it’s the “canon” issue I can’t part with…

Even Stalin, who notably sported arguably the best coiff in male human history, would have envied Scotty’s amazing shock of jet black plumage. Why, with an astronomical (no pun intended) budget could they not dress up Simon Pegg’s pate?

The other characters seemed to comply… We didn’t have to suffer a Kirk with a Mullet, we didn’t have to endure a Spock with an Afro or a McCoy with a Dutchboy. So why, Paramount, why a young Scotty with male pattern baldness?

And Checkov… why the curly locks?

Actually, I didn’t see it until I read the comment, but you know, the Garrett Wang thing isn’t entirely unfair – it’s the hairstyle.

Other than the hair, they don’t look alike at all, though.

I’m oddly looking forward to this movie and I’m not that big of a Trek fan.

My only question is who is that in the bottom left poster? It looks like John Krasinski to me (from the office).
