When I lived in SOuth Jersey I remember the Phillies coming off a winning streak of away games and then they lost the first home game. During the next game the Phillies fans threw batteries at their own home team! Why would anyone be surprised what goes on there now?

"You got your immigration debate in my sports team shenanigans!" "you got your sports team shenanigans in my immigration debate!"

Seriously, why do jerks always run behind mommy's skirt about "I pay my taxes" and so on? Paying taxes doesn't give you a right to be an asshole.

I got that exact lecture this morning from a co-worker. She said she only wears neutral colors when she goes to sport events out of town. I told her that's too bad. I support "my" team no matter where they play. I love Philadelphia and god bless their teams and blah blah blah but I am a Pistons fan, not a 76ers fan, and I'm proud! The big baby Philadelphia fans can SUCK IT DETROIT STYLE. haha! And no, I don't know what it means to suck something Detroit style.

I'm convinced its a propoganda thing about Philadlphia. I've been living here the past 10 years and while I've seen plenty of loud assholes, they don't hold a candle to the "people" in the bleachers at yankee stadium.

It's amazing, the stories you hear about some stadiums.

I have friends who have gone to KC Chiefs games in the oppsing teams colors. They all said they got some good-natured ribbing from the fans but never felt out of place.

Even my friends who are Bronco's fans. Heck, they said the Chiefs fans bought them a beer when their team was obviously beat by half-time a few years back.
