I thought that “Chi-Chi Fudge-Bubbler” was the most ridiculous thing I had ever read, until I got down to “Ferociously Fighting Foreigners for Freedom Forever”.
It’s amazing how alliteration makes particularly violent “patriotism” all the more creepy.
They are surprised to learn that stocks are not the only thing traded on Wall Street.
They also trade in cocaine, black market organs, and the souls of young children.
I’m reminded of a small-press (not self-published) children’s book that I ran across a few years ago that told the story of the Easter Bunny: a rabbit who was present at the Crucifixion and was splashed by the blood of Christ to become more than a mortal rabbit.
Oh good grief. I think I’ll go and read some Dr. Suess, and cleanse my palette.
Oh, man, I want to read the story of the Christ-Rabbit.
