To the horror of all well-dressed political pundits, President Obama has jettisoned a Bush-era tradition long thought sacrosant: he was photographed in the Oval Office without wearing a suit jacket.
Let’s see how CNN readers respond:
MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD TELL HIM HE IS THE POTUS AND HE IS IN THE OVAL OFFFICE NOT THE BASKETBALL COURT…..WHAT’S NEXT…MAYBE HE CAN TELL THE QUEEN WHEN HE MEETS HER THAT SHE HAS NICE BLING……….
this is the Change we can beleive in? WOW
wow what a rule change is this all we can expect from Bubba
You people are acting like giddy little children that have just seen Santa Claus at the mall. Obama is a man, and yet to prove anything except that he knows how to get elected.
No surpise here. Like the Clintons, Obama has no respect for the office. Or its traditions. I just hope the country survives the next 4 years.
No coat for Obama – not pants for Clinton. Gotta love those demoncrats!
“Demoncrats!” Wow, so clever.
Here we go, oversized sweatpants and bling bling and a baseball cap
Yes, nothing that dignifies the office like a padded flight suit.
PRESIDENT OBAMA SHOULD CONTINUE THE WHITE HOUSE DRESS CODE. WHEN WEARING SHIRT WITHOUT TIE…REMINDS US OF THE LEADER OF IRAN, NEVER WEARS A TIE . A PRESIDENT SHOULD DRESS PROPERLY OUR PRESIDENT IS REPRESENTING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. WE MUST SET THE RIGHT EXAMPLE. IN EVERY WAY… ALWAYS!.
This is ‘history’ in the making? Boy, I already miss GWB!
Pffftttt…trying to show what a ‘hard working’ guy he is. Whatever. Just another photo op…When will people actually get a clue, and awake from the brainwashing?
So much for total respect for the Office of the Presidency……….Ronald Reagan never walked into the Oval Office without a coat on, but then Barrack is no Ronald Reagan
And we are all very grateful for that.
And to think, we have at least four more years of this kind of incisive political commentary from the Republicans to look forward to.
